We highly recommend taking a relaxing walk through the vineyards, immersing yourself in the delightful scent of ripening grapes. You can also treat yourself to wine tastings, where enthusiastic vintners will walk you through the various flavors and subtleties of their meticulously crafted wines. Don’t miss the chance to savor some outstanding wines made from locally grown grape varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. It’s a fantastic way to explore the unique terroir that gives Palisade wines their one-of-a-kind character. 

Outdoor Adventures in Palisade:

Palisade is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wide range of activities to suit all interests. Embark on a scenic hike or bike ride along the iconic Palisade Rim Trail, where panoramic vistas of the Colorado River and surrounding mesas will leave you awe-inspired. We loved finding some of the petroglyphs in the rock as we made our way along the trail. 

For a more relaxed outing, paddle down the gentle waters of the river, enjoying a kayak or paddleboard adventure.

Palisade takes pride in its farm-to-table culinary scene. Sample the region’s finest produce at local restaurants, where talented chefs transform the freshest fruits and vegetables into delectable dishes. From peach-infused pastries to farm-fresh salads, each bite encapsulates the vibrant flavors of Palisade’s agricultural abundance. We enjoy and recommend stopping to relax and enjoy a cold one after a long day of exploration in the area at Palisade Brewing Company. 

Getting Around: 

We cannot recommend renting e-bikes enough as the best way to explore this wonderful area! For an unforgettable and eco-friendly adventure in Palisade, renting e-bikes is an excellent choice. Hop on your electric-powered two-wheeler and feel the gentle breeze on your face as you effortlessly pedal along the scenic pathways, taking in the picturesque landscape. 

With the assistance of e-bikes, you can cover more ground and visit multiple vineyards in a single day. The e-bikes provide a comfortable and enjoyable mode of transportation, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vineyard experience without the worry of exertion or fatigue. As you pedal through the vineyards on your e-bike, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the winemakers, learn about the unique characteristics of the local area, and gain insight into the winemaking process.
